Transport license
Road transport companies operating in Switzerland in passenger or freight transport require a license. This is issued by the Federal Office of Transport. In connection with the agreement between Switzerland and the European Community on freight and passenger transport by rail and road (“Land Transport Agreement”), Switzerland has regulated market access in the road transport industry by law.
